Great club, it has everything you need - from a barber to food outlets, pokie machines, games room and all sorts of activities. We were back to the Star Buffet to celebrate 2 family birthdays, as always a great night! We arrived on the same night a NRL game was happening across the road at the football stadium so parking was at a *premium*, in fact there was security at the gate checking for membership cards ensuring members were able to park and those attending the football would need to park elsewhere. Great food was on offer and we were surprised to find getting in and getting a table wasn't going to be an issue - considering the *football crowd*, The food was great and included crab claws (although providing a *utensil* to allow you to get INTO the crab claw would have been good), fresh prawns, salmon, roast, pizza, fish, chips, soups, salads and so much more, there were some new desserts available and a few different dishes to our last visit. Very nice club, there are certain times you need to be there early to get a parking spot though. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is something for everyone, from chocolate/toy/prize machines for the kids to pokie machines, smoking and non smoking areas, a barber/hairdresser, somewhere to get your nails done and so much more. This visit we were off to the Star Buffet for a family get together. It was a Sunday and while we did have to line up we got a table easily. Staff were very friendly and quick to clear used plates and bowls away quickly. If you are after a range you food you'll find it here, with everything suitable for kids and adults, pizza, roast and veggies, sushi train, salads, seafood buffet, Chinese dishes, chips, fish cocktails and more - bottomless tea, coffee and softdrinks and a dessert bar with at least a dozen different choices, soft serve ice cream, waffles and a chocolate fountain. Great place for everyone even the most fussy eaters
The leagues club has something for everyone. A number of restaurants, large gaming and TAB area, an upstairs smoking/gaming area, a nightclub, and a cafe. I go here regularly for a beer, and sometimes to eat. The all you can eat Star Buffet is just your regular buffet. The Tepenyaki upstairs is good fun, however its a bit overpriced. You can't go wrong with the chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and always good food. The nightclub is nothing like it used to be, but there is not much else to compete with in the area. Overall its a good club.
