Overlooking the water, this club is very popular at lunchtime with the Seniors. There is a special menu for seniors where they get $14.50 meals, the portions are slightly smaller but it is great value for fettuccine pasta, chicken schnitzel or a plate of dish and chips!
I ordered from the regular menu some chilli crab fettuccine and it was cooked nicely. The pasta was fresh and there were little chunks of crab meat in the rich tomato and chilli sauce.
They have high chairs for babies and there's also a 'baby free area near the bar where they serve alcoholic drinks and beverages.
Great water views from every seat in the bistro. Floor to ceiling glass windows provide a spectacular view of the sailing boats. The food is tasty and delicious. Had the schnitzel and the peppercorn sauce. The chips were crunchy, the schnitzel was perfectly cooked and peppercorn sauce was rich and had a full flavour. Lots of free parking outside too.
Would definitely come again!
Used to come here often but now i have to make it a special trip just to come here. They used to have tasty pizzas here, so i was a little disappointed that they don't make pizza on the menu anymore. We had the Battered fish and chicken Parmesan. Personally i was not overly impressed with the fish (which came in three pieces and chips and a bit of salad. The chips were good but other than that my dish was not worth the $21. I was told the Parm was good and it looked very filling.
The view here is beautiful if you can get a seat out on the balcony. I really enjoyed myself sitting in the sun on a winters day... i just don't think the price they charge for the food is worth it and i wish they would bring back the Pizzas!
Booked a table early for a New Year's Day birthday lunch and requested outside seating. Got there and staff were rude, unhelpful and obviously didn't want to accomodate. Directed us to an inside table next to 2 screaming kids. When asked to speak to the supervisor, was told there was not one on site today. After further discussions, was finally able to get a table outside - totally unnecessary argo. The barman certainly did not want to be there either, totally unprofessional, stood there texting rather than attending to a client. Fortunately, the food, view and company made up for staff's shortcomings. Would recommend for the food (only).
One of my favourite spots to go to for lunch or dinner. Sadly they don't make pizza anymore but then again i haven't been here for years. Been here over the weekend for Father's day. It was busy but the quality of food was still good, be prepared to feel sluggish/tired by the time you finish your meal as it is a fairly large portion.
Location-wise the beautiful views (of the boats/sail boats) but parking is tricky not great for manual cars as the hill is steep and it is usually packed... so you will need to keep in mind to park far and walk to the club.
