The Enfield Aquatic Centre is situated in picturesque Henley Park and has been serving the local community since 1933, originally under the name of the Enfield Olympic Swimming Pool.

The centre's main activities are Learn to Swim, Squad and Aqua fitness programs. Our swim school is affiliated with Austswim, Royal Life, and Swim Australia.

Enfield Pool is a great facility. I enjoying the ambience and the charm of a old facility that is well looked after. The outdoor pool is great as is the newer 25m pool. Having said that it is near impossible to swim in the indoor pool during the winter months. The pool is almost entirely booked out with learn to swim and squad swimming leaving sometimes a lap lane that I have experienced being taken up by 15 people trying to swim laps in a single 25m lane. As Enfield Pool is a public facility owned by Burwood Council it should have enough space for people wishing to swim. I am sure all the squads and learn to swims are a lucrative money earner for the pool, however, it loses its public appeal when almost the entire pool is taken up with kids swimming in classes. They need lessons sure, but I have found that when 15 people are crowded in one lap lane it is an OH&S issue. Plus Lanes are often closed off and changed while people are swimming laps. We've had our children at swimming lessons here for ages, and been very happy: and the price is much better than some of the bigger pools around. Lots of choices of times/swimming levels.
Normal entry prices are good too, and it doesn't get too busy except on boiling days, when it can get crowded so it's best to get there early esp as it's not huge.
Indoor pool is warm all year round, and there's almost always lap lanes available.
Fairly well priced & big enough for a medium busy day - though it does get v busy on hot days. Indoor pool is heated, so no excuses even on a mild day! Their swimming lessons are also well priced & run every day (incl for adults, not just kids), same with aquaerobics & lap swimming times.
going for a swim is always great during hot days, especially in summer. affordable price, friendly service. i go for a swim as early as possible though since it gets crowded around 3:00 - 5:00 on schooldays, 12:00 - 5:00 on weekends. place is packed during the holidays
