Lovely little corner cafe in Leichhardt! Very friendly, good coffee, not too busy and nicely tucked away from the hustle of Norton street. Standard cafe menu done well, with some tempting treats sitting out too. A relaxing place to stop for a coffee or more, family friendly and with that nice local chilled out Leichhardt vibe.
I had brunch with my baby daughter and a girlfriend last weekend. The place is nice and cosy, the atmosphere is good and the food is delicious. There would not be much space to take prams in but they also have a few highchairs. I had the smoked trout and avo which was extremely yummy and a nice change from salmon, and my friend had the toasted chicken sandwich which she raved about. My only word of warning would be that because everything is truly made to order the food is quite slow to come out. This didn't bother us at all as we had plenty of time and enjoyed the relaxing and chatting! But if you were in a hurry I would keep that in mind. I would definitely go back. #reviewtowin
First time Leichardt and went here for brunch with a friend of mine and her 7 month old little girl.
Nice colourful cafe with a child friendly atmosphere.
Menu is not too long but I had about 5 options I wanted off it. I ended up having a toasted sandwhich I have to say it was very good I think they butter the outside of the bread to make it crispy but not dry.It was only $10 and I was full after it. My friend got the trout and by the way she inhaled it, it looks like she enjoyed it.
As we had a 7month old we hoped they had high chairs which they did not just one either. staff were friendly. Chai Lattes are perfect.
Only downside is that we had to wait for our food for quite some time which we didn't mind as were were having a catch up. However if you are in a rush this is not the place for you.
I would definitely return....
This is possibly the best cafe in Leichhardt. The coffee is always good, and the food is a little but different, but not too different to be intimidating. The staff are also all lovely.
Kids are taken care of with books to read, toys and little nooks with comfy couches. The decor is always evolving, and art is always an important part of the look.
It's located outside the Leichhardt MarketPlace, so it offers a little respite or reward for grocery shoppers.
