Friday's Riverside

Avoid! Ordered Chicken and it come out raw. Staff were very rude. Drinks were over priced.

Awesome venue. Really open with lots of space. Lovely view. Came here for a hens and they booked us a table to free as well. I know with birthdays they also give you a small bar tab which is a bonus. Always busy though!

Was quite busy on a Saturday night as expected but service was slow and perhaps more staff available may help with overall experience. Good drink selection

Having read some great reviews about here maybe I expected a bit much, and came away with a sort of 'meh' type feeling.
It's clear that perhaps the best part of Friday's is the view and seating area - it's hard to find somewhere that's this chic & just really nice to sit at. I went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy at all.
What disappointed me though was that they rave about their steak and first of all it took a mighty long time to come out (especially for a not busy night) and although it was 'nice' I wouldn't rave about it. The sides were generously sized (and included in the price) and really tasty.

Great views and cheap drink specials, what's not to love. The bar staff are lovely as well. The downside: it gets VERY busy on a Friday (go figure).
