I have had a wonderful experience with Friendly Driving School. I have learnt very much and when I was driving I felt very comfortable with them and was pleased with their service. They have an affordable rate of just $50/hour and are always patient with me. I have achieved a lot and learnt something new in every driving lesson. They have over 25 years of experience and understand the needs of a learner driver. I would definitely recommend anyone who wishes to learn driving to go to this driving school.
My sibling and I partook in lessons with the so called, "Friendly" Driving School. From our experience with the school I would not recommend it to a friend or even a stranger . Not only was the staff on the mobile at least 4 times in each lesson but we were both made to do detours to other clients houses to pick up money owed to them during our lesson. The staff's focus on the lesson was little to none. My sibling and I were both quoted dramatically different prices for the lesson's, hiring of their vehicle for our test's and the test itself. I was charged the correct price of $45 for the instructor to book my test, whilst my sibling was charged $65...We both wanted to use our own vehicles for the tests and were told that we would have to pay an additional fee of $100 for the hiring of their vehicle for the test, whether we used it or not..Once we said we wouldn't pay this additional fee, the staff threatened to give our booking to his other clients. i disagree with you. i took many lessons from them and they did not show any type of behaviour as you are describing. they were very nice people and payed full attention to me. they also pointed out my mistakes and helped me improve them and i also passed my driving test on the first time. they are very kind and respectful people and as you were saying about the money difference, well prices change and if you were unable to pay the price then you should have talked to them about it, maybe they could have done some installements or some arrangement. i would suggest that please dont degrade their name as they are very respectable people and have been running the business for over 21 years and have a lot of experience.
Well if you were both quoted the same price on the same day it may be because both of your lessons had a different time frame or it may depend on if you went for a manual lesson and your sister went for an auto lesson or vice versa. And another thing I don't know why you may suggest I am 'not a genuine client', because I am. And I think they know what they are teaching as they are the instructor and have experience whereas you were the learner. I can't believe you are making such a big fuss about the payment; prices change!
Oh look, someone else has had a similar experience to ours..I rest my case.
I agree with you..Very dull service and zero value for money. Charge highest then others and service poor then all others...
