Classic Italian dishes with a lighter, fresher touch. All the dishes are delicious & generous, like how a good Italian meal should be. There is a woodfired oven as you walk in which pumps out delectable pizzas as well as meat & seafood dishes. The pizzas have a nice thin but chewy, well charred base, just how I like it. From the outside this restaurant looks pretty basic, the location is awful and once inside the acoustics leave much to be desired and if i were not taken there by my work i would never have gone but dont let this put you off, because the food and service here are absolutely amazing!
This is fast, traditional Italian cooking at its best with a beautiful array of the finest produced served in inventive modern ways. I highly recommend the fresh figs wrapped in proscuitto, with a warm gorgonzola pistachio and balsamic sauce, as an entree, its to die for!
It is not cheap, but good food never is, but whats more of an issue is deciding what to eat because all the dishes are seriously appealing, dont worry however the friendly staff are more than accommodating when it comes to helping you narrow your selection, be prepared however to loosen the top button!
