Hakiki

Walking into this place you're deceived into thinking is just another gelato place. But it's not.

It's a small slice of Turkey hidden in Enmore. Especially the traditional dondurma (icecream) on offer. There's a selection of sweet noms in the glass. There's also a selection of baklava that makes your tastebuds sings. Tonight I tasted the apple and cinnamon baklava which tasted a bit like an apple danish and not enough like a baklava, yet it wasn't horrible to eat. Big fan of Hakiki - they make excellent Turkish ice cream. You need to eat in for the full stretchy experience. They're also doing robust Turkish coffees and baklava slices in a variety of flavours. My favourite ice cream flavour is grape molasses and tahini.

Smashing! Turkish Ice cream beats gelato anyday, their baklava is overpriced though: $3.50 just for 1 square, other Arabic sweet shops can serve you 6 - 7 pieces for that much. However I will definitely be coming back to try more exotic ice cream flavours howev

Space is limited at the store so be mindful if you plan on going to Hakiki's with a group but there are times when they're quite such as 6:30pm on a Tuesday.

I love ice-cream; and I have toe say that Hakiki does have some great ice cream!
So creamy and rich.
I love my pistachio flavour - and Hakiki definitely did a great version.
There are some interesting flavours which you must atleast try; melon and feta, baklava, burnt caramel, tahini, cacao sour cherry coconut

I'm really not one to usually opt for ice cream, however the endless options of unique and exciting flavours got me really excited. I went for the melon and feta, which was to say the least a pleasant surprise.
