Oddfellows Restaurant

Been at Oddfellows for dinner. The most beautifull experience. The bacground music was jus right, the rel atmosfere was relaxing, the service was courteous and the food very good. The salt and peppered squid was literally melting in the mouth as well the pork belly.
Highly reccomend to visit the place.

Travelled through Colac a few weeks ago and was looking to have a meal somewhere other than a hotel. Service station attendant recommended Oddfellows, just around the corner. True but a couple of blocks away. Parking was easy and we walked into a large, open "hall" type building that was pleasantly cool and airy for our unseasonal warm weather. Greeted by friendly young staff eager to get us what we wanted and we were seated in the sectioned dining area with one other larger table of diners. Surprised at the selection of food with Tapas and a large menu provided. Heaps of choice. We had excellent, fresh made dips to start but the reason for the review is the magnificent steak and fresh, fresh fish we had. True Angus beef cooked perfectly. Magnificent - would have liked some veg on the plate - but a simple prosciutto and spiced butter sauce, beautiful. Loved the food, loved the building, loved the rear beer garden -a bit dark.
