A great place to have a drink and catch up with friends.The Preston Hotel is located in Preston, North Melbourne.
Recently refurbished, this establishment offers both pub and gaming atmosphere.
Take a step out back for a plethora of pokie machines, keno and TAB racing, or stay put in the High Street end and relax in the open atmosphere of the front bar. Double doors open up onto the street providing ample natural light that serves to highlight the newly refurbished decor.
A great place for a drink and an opportunity to catch up with friends, put the Preston Hotel on your 'to visit' list next time you are in the area.

This is probably my favourite pub in Preston. It is close to public transport which means that I can easily get home, and it is also away from the main shopping area which means that it is a fairly quiet pub. Okay, it does have a large pokies room, and it doesn't play the football games that I want to watch, but that is not really a problem for me because there are other pubs I go to to watch the football. It also has cheap beers, but since it is a part of the ALH group, that is always going to be the case, at least with the ones in the suburbs. As such, for me at least, it is a great little pub to stop off at on the way home to have a beer and sit out the back in the beer garden and read a book.
