Interesting space, this one - big old converted garage that has been kept as one large open plan room with the bar in the centre surrounded by stools and dining areas at the bar and counter, plus loads of tables surrounding the periphery for more of a sit down dinner style. Slightly hidden away just off William St, it's a good one to be aware of if you're in the area. Food and drinks are solid, standard City/East prices, table service at the bar tables was appreciated.
Tried this place out of a few reccomendations and good reviews. Set in Frank Lowey's old garage, the interior is minimalist but eternally stylish. The bar, situated in the centre of this large space is a real feature. We went for a selection of dishes, the oysters, beef carpaccio, pork knuckle and lamb shoulder.

Average. Sushimi not fresh and sliced too thick. Amazing rib eye with bearnaise sauce, cooked to perfection. Zucchini flowers and chorizo corn dog both great. Service, so, so - we had to repeatedly ask for our wine and when it came to paying our bill (in excess of $200) we were told to pay at the counter on our way out. Not good enough. Felt like I was at Woolies. Won't be racing back.
Finally, got to tick this one off my list!
As expected it was sensational! Got the espresso martini with salted caramel to start! That def hit the spot.
The lighting is very dark so it def sets the scene for those romantic dinner dates. So if you are here to take pictures you will need some light from your friends phone!

We finished off with the dessert platter and it was nothing short of spectacular!
