Rooftop Bar & Cinema - Curtain House

This place is pretty cool. In fact it is one of those places that I have visited quite a few times, if only for its convenience. Well, not, it is more than that because not only is it on top of a reasonably tall buildings, the views around the city are nothing short of awesome. In fact, it really feels like a true inner city rooftop bar. They also have some quite nice beers on tap, though I should point out that it does get pretty crowded.

They have now renovated this bar to allow for additional room as they get quite popular now and sometimes on busy nights, there could even be a long queue that wraps around to get up. But it's worth the wait, especially if it's a night warm Melbourne night. I still love the crowd here, and the 'no shots' rule. And still my favourite bar in Melbourne.

Such a fun experience with wonderful views on all sides! It does get very busy so it's worth arriving early. Wonderful that it's not as noisy as some other venues and what a great idea- a rooftop bar and cinema in one complex! A nice, chilled-out vibe to relax in.

Such a great vibe here, DJs play chill out beats as you sip on cocktails and beer, while staring at the city lights all around you. Great friendly crowd and not too noisy so you can actually have a conversation! Recommend this place!

have often come here after the cinema session has finished for a few drinks, and while the hike is a decent one (prepare for lots of stairs). However, once you get to the top, it's really nice with some pretty cool views of the city.



Also nice drinks, the bar staff know what they are doing.
