This place is a hidden gem. Brekky is superb! We love walking down here on a weekend and reading the paper, perfect spot to do so with a cuppa.

Effortlessly cool, this place oozes Newtown's eclectic vibe. It's hip, it's queer, it's friendly and it's very regular for many locals. The food is a little different to most cafes and this is awesome. Brown rice for breakfast? Oh yes and it's SOOOO good. Some of the best bacon and eggs in town I reckon and their coffee is damned good. Can get a bit hot in there in the summer but hey, this is Sydney. Get over it. We love Satellite!

this cafe was so cool I was constantly worried I'd be chucked out. Then I realised it welcomes everybody in a no-fuss, casual way. All the ladies serving were grunge goddesses, tattooed to the hilt. The atmosphere is what I imagine the art scene 80s NYC to have been a bit like. They playlist included Queen and Stone Temple pilots.Amazing scrambled eggs that rendered lunch completely unnecessary!
