Stanmore Cycles

I have no idea about bikes and the dude explained everything and gave me some rim tape to fix the issue I was having with my inner tube valve. I spent $8 there and got above and beyond service to explain & deal with my issue and prevent it from recurring. Although I was a naive customer he didn't try to get me to purchase all kinds of other crap that I don't need like some places do. I don't know how you can fault this place and suspect the half a star reviews were written by his competition.

Wow. Oh dear - what an experience. Probably ranks as the rudest and worst customer service I have ever experienced globally!! Extremely cold management, ridiculously out of touch with reality and the modern world. Subsequently I have found vastly superior cycling options but I ended up buying at Bicycle Garage in Lilyfield. I'm a local to Stanmore Cycles but I won't be going there again..

I have been going to Stanmore cycles for a while now. The staff are very warm, inviting and friendly, their product selection is amazing. I went in for toe clips, straps, lights and got my rear wheel trued. Which was significantly out in the xyz direction. They trued it up perfectly as though I had just bought a new wheel. Got a brilliant brooks team pro special range of bicycle saddle and a seat post all set up within the afternoon. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone who wants a bike or needs repairs or items for their bicycle. I like their road bikes and their Campagnolo gear. Nice people to talk to about bicycles and haven't had a negative experience. Definetely will continue to go to them in the future and for many years to come

Worst customer service. All I wanted was some advice on an issue with my bike to determine what i need to buy. After I explain the staff bluntly told me I am not gonna tell your for free in very rude way. The staff had absolutely no intension to help fixing the problem. I was shocked by the way the staff treats his customer. Never going back....
