The Joint Bar

This is one of the very few bars in Melbourne that has been recommended to me by a friend. However, when I came over to Melbourne with him we never had the chance to drink here. Since I have moved here that has definitely changed, and I must say that this goes on my list of favourite pubs. Mind you, after about 7:00 pm on a Friday and Saturday night the bouncers come out, so I would suggest coming here early because the balcony is nothing short of awesome (as long as it is not raining). There is nothing better than sitting there, drinking a beer, and watching the trams come and go, as well as the people going about their daily business. Even better, it is pretty grungy, which is something that I also like.
