*****AVOID*****AVOID******AVOID****** Were stuffed around from the very begining. Small job booked: an aviary 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.9 & to help bring in a tv cabinet from a carport at the desitination where the aviary was scheduled to go. Job booked to go local from suburb to suburb (20min's travel time). Job booked for 12pm. Removalist arrives @ 9.00am with truck half filled so the aviary didn't fit!! Company rang me & said the avairy was to big even though i gave them the measurements in the first place. So then they said they'd send another truck. The other truck came. They got the aviary on even though they complained it was heavy! Didn't stop them from breaking my garage door though & not even telling me about it. At the removal destination they were hopelessly lazy & claimed they couldn't get the avairy into the back yard & that they would have to leave it next to the tv cabinet in the carport - because they couldn't get that into the house either. ...read more
We were told by Transpcorps on Thursday that furniture would arrive in Adelaide from Melbourne on Saturday between 10am and 12pm. When it didn't arrive, we had to go through the emergency number to contact someone as the office was closed on the weekend.
We were then told that the furniture would arrive between 4 and 6, and that the driver should have contacted us to let us know of the delay. He hadn't.
Based on the original 10-12 arrival time we had arranged for a new washing machine to be delivered in the afternoon, and the old one (which theoretically should have been delivered by then) to be removed. New one arrived, but the old one hadn't!
When the furniture did finally arrive at around 7pm we discovered that it hadn't left Melbourne until 5am that morning, making a 10-12 arrival highly ...read more
Hi and thank you for your review. Transcorp calls or SMS each client the day prior for a delivery time expectation on the following day. Information at the time (Friday) was accurate but unfortunately delays did happen due to freight consolidation that was out of our control delaying your delivery. Being a weekend the driver is aware to update the client of any delays saving waiting around and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We always aim to please and be as accurate as possible with pickup and delivery times but as a consolidation service delays from time to time can happen. Understand that you called the emergency after hours number and that a closer updated time was provided at that time. Transcorp Operations department always aim to improve processes to save issues of waiting around. In saying this we are pleased you have had us remove and dispose of the old washing machine for you.
