The old bay City Plaza has more than doubled in size since Westfield's redvelopment, and at last Geelong has a shopping centre equal to most of what Melbourne has to offer. Anchor retailers are Coles, Myer, Target and big W and there is a large variety of other stores. The range of fashion stores is huge as in all shopping centres but these are no longer as dominant. The Apple store, phone retailers and the impressive Telstra shop are standouts for non-clothing buyers. There is also a huge variety of food now, including some of the more popular fast food chains including KFC and Subway. But there is also a lot of higher quality eateries now also. parking has been improved but unlike most other Westfields in Australia, you have to pay. Get out in under 3 hours and it's only $3.

This shopping centre is good because it now has more to offer, but the set up needs a little more looking into.... It has a problem with heating, so if your going for a good look I suggest you dress a little lighter... The only problem I really found is that it doesn't cater well for the children inbetween the sizings of 4-6 and shoe sizing of 10 in childrens shoes. I enter all stores that had shoes for children and only found Big W catered for it.

The Shopping Centre in Geelong. Contains Myer, Target, Coles and now Big W. Has many other speciality stores and food stores. Has recently being refurbished so its looking better than it ever has. The place to shop in Geelong!
