1800 Move It

Using this company recently has been a very negative experience for us. We used them to help us remove some furniture from some rooms to other rooms in the house so we could have our floorboards redone. This was not a big job and they did not even need to use one of their trucks however cost us 700 dollars. There were call out fees attached to each job. First to move the furniture then to return it to its place a week later.
The first job was just a few minutes over an hour and we were then told it was a 2 hour minimum.
This was not mentioned in the quote. In the process the fridge was damaged however no response from Christian to do anything about this. Very poor company so please beware and shop around .
For what was a small job ie 2 hours total we paid 700 dollars. We will never use this company again and absolutely do not recommend any one else does either !! Please beware !!

The removalists arrived punctually and were cheerful and most helpful. We will use your company again should the need arrive. Thank you.

It wasn't all bad. The two movers were really helpful, hardworking and made the move go smoothly. The management was pretty dire. I rang to confirm my booking and the owner of another franchise (who was filling in while the one I'd booked was on holiday) had no record of my booking. He took the booking details again then texted me on the morning of my booking to say he'd had a mover call in sick and was offering me an extra mover for an additional cost. I accepted but was informed by a relative helping with my move that this was a common 'operating procedure'. We told the owner we weren't happy and keen to pay the extra but when the owner rang and gave me an earful about how he was helping me, we agreed the third man would stay m, I'd pay the extra charge and we'd just aim for a faster faster move. DON'T USE THEM- we had a really unpleasant experience with them. They were late to turn up to our pick up address, took forever to get to the drop off address and carried stuff in and out really slowly. You could tell they were on an hourly rate!!

I had an excellent experience using 1800 Move It. The two guys that came to do my medium-sized move were very friendly, worked hard and got the job done quickly. I was impressed with the care they took with my belongings. I would have no hesitation in using this company again.
