52 Marine Restaurant

Hidden away at 52 Marine Pde, Coolangatta is an awesome restaurant with great, cosy decor and amazing lighting, and the food's not too darn shabby either! I dined here one weekend with about 8 friends. The service was lovely, our drinks came out quickly and dinner orders taken. They have a tapas menu, regular meals, plus a chef's specials menu (around $22.95 each) I ordered the Chef's delicious slow cooked lamb shank with bacon & mash. The meat just fell off the bone, it was beautiful. But pretty much everything that came out of the kitchen that night was great. My friends ordered the rump, risotto, ravioli, and tapas. Everyone was very full & happy!

Had breakfast and dinner here a few times whilst on holidays. The breakfast menu was one of the biggest I've seen and the food was fantastic!!!! Great gourmet meals or simple Bacon and eggs, they really do have everything. Fast and good service too. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusted in this cafe. We had a group of six people all locals to the area 4 of whom are 50+ and 2 in their mid twenties we went to join two tables together outside so that we could all sit together when their manager came out and started abusing us for putting two tables together and kicked a chair at us. We had not retaliated or said anything to him we simply got up and left. I have never in my life been treated so poorly. Avoid this place at all costs it is a disgrace.

Excellent food. Went here about 4 times on our honeymoon. Made sure we went back on our first year anniversary - too good to miss.



Indescribably good bread for starters... trust me.
