after 15 years of home,contents and cars dealing with AAMI insurance was one big headacre.
Never again.
Made claim for stollen sports equipment from brake in of rear canopy and supplied receipts and photos. My wife and i were treated as criminals and were evern told buy girl on phone she thinks we have stollen items at home.
Just hoping police do become involved as we welcome this to prove how nonesencical this company is and how lacking in training there staff is.
It was a relief to finaly get my excess removed.Regrettably the company was not looking after me the way they should have I had to go to the umbadsman of aami to get the staff decidion overruled to charge me an excess.The aami ambudsman looked at all the facts & made a decision in my favour,for any disputes I would always recommend you contact the aami umdasman & put in for breach of customer charter when the company breaches one of the first 16 points of it's charter so that we the customers get awarded the $30 penalty cheque they promise us.
It was so wonderful to hear an understanding voice on the other side of the phone when I called ammi after such a stressful experience as having an accident with an angry driver that ran into our car. The ammi staff member explained everything to me regarding how the claims process would work & what location was best for me to take the car to so the accessor could see it & options on how to get quotes.It was a breath of fresh air to have all my questions answered without me even having to ask them,the ammis staff member was so efficent it was almost as though she was able to read my mind & tell me everything I wanted to & needed to hear. This is truely the best & most efficent insurance company which is also great value for money, no other insurance company can come close to the wonderful job these people are doing & their geniune consideration for their clients.This is truely what customer service should be like everywhere. :)
