Abbeyards Boarding Kennels & Cattery

We have just picked our little dog up from Wendy at Abbeyards. He was there for ten days and it was his first visit. I wish there was a section to add extra 'stars' to the rating ! WOW ! we could not have been happier. All of our concerns were covered. From the security, comfort, care, feeding. Over and beyond fantastic ! The icing on the cake was a lovely soft clean little dog when we picked him up. Thank you to all the staff who cared for Sam over the past ten days. The fact Wendy took in so much of his own personal likes and dislikes regarding eating, eating habits and his general every day exercise habits was amazing. Fantastic !!!!! As parents of 'fur kids' and regular travellers, it was important to us to find like minded people to care for our 'family' when we needed to be away. A number of years ago, through a vet recommendation, we contacted Wendy & Peter of Abbeyards (at their original location). From the moment we started talking to them, we knew they were the right people to take care of our 'kids' and we were not disappointed, they both came back to us happy and healthy every time. Abbeyards now has a brand new home and it really is a well designed facility. With lots of room to move, piped music and sound-proofing (which is especially good for our anxious staffy who hates storms!), Wendy, Peter & Chris have thought about everything to make your 'fur kids' stay relaxed and enjoyable.
