Abhi's Indian Restaurant
Located on Concord Road, this restaurant is nestled among a group of restaurants clustered here. This is a more refined Indian restaurant with meals presented beautifully and the flavours were awesome.
The service here is top notch. They were very welcoming and had our water glasses topped up at all times. Nothing was too much for them.
We tried a nice selection of mains including Mixed Tandoori Platter, Beef Ambotik, Chicken Makhni, and Kadhi Paneer. The platter had a selection of chicken and lamb. Meats were tender and nice flavourings. The beef had the right amount of spicy kick to it without burning your mouth. Both the chicken and paneer had fantastic sauces which went well with the rice and naan we ordered.
Overall well worth a visit if you're in the area. It exceeded our expectations of a typical local Indian restaurant.
Really love this place! Definitely on the pricey side of things - but likewise to a review below - this is because the quality is amazing. You will struggle to find this quality of indian cuisine elsewhere! We go here more for special occasions, and always leave extremely satisfied and amazed by the diversity of flavours we've encountered!!
Where some reviewers say "pricey" I say "quality costs".
Abhi's does very flavoursome Indian cuisine that transcends the typical Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma brigade, the Goa Fish (barramundi) and Baby Eggplant curries were fabulous.
Only 1 complaint - our three curry selections recently all had very similar sauces, I expect a waiter to be on top of that and to make a customer aware. Nonetheless, Abhi's is one of Sydney's finer Indian restaurants, and has deservingly been around for a long time.
