This restaurant is overpriced and the main meals are entree sizes. Six of us went there last night and although the staff were pleasant our order of breads never arrived and drinks were forgotten. The seafood risotto is market price although has 2 prawns, 2 mussells and calamari and fish. How can market price dictate the price being $36 on special. The lamb special was very tough and tasteless. All of the small meals were on average $35 although the manager charged us $24 for the risotto possibly as an admission of his guilt for what we received. The mood changed from being pleasant from when we questioned the price of the large bill which was done in a respectful manner. This place has a nice ambience although is NOT good value for money and we all left hungry after forking out $240. NOT HAPPY
totally agree with diner devo, our meal and the price certainly didnt leave us wanting to come back to this restuarant. i wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. stay well clear. not happy.
I agree with the above comment. I would give this restaurant 3 stars. The food is nice, too expensive, as the delivery of certain techniques is a little 'hit and miss'. I get the impression the meals are prepared by a staff that has been trained well in the classic arts of cooking, however is lacking a little passion. I have dinned here many times, just my opinion.
