I was quoted an amount for getting my injectors replaced. When picking up my car they charged me more than the quoted amount and when asking if the injectors got replaced i was told they just cleaned my old ones. My car has 6 injectors and market price is around $600 each, you do the sums!
They also kept my wheel lock bolts and keyed socket adaptor which i put in my glovebox before dropping my car to them, then when noticing a couple days later and asking about it, was told the mechanic who worked on my car previous to AEM must have kept them...?!
Couple months later my wheel came off!
If i could give a half star i would.
Got quoted a price over the phone and booked it in. On the day dropped the car off for in the morning for a standard oil change. It took the whole day.
Had to send the Missus to pick it up and instead of charging the quoted price over the phone they tried charging her an extra $150 dollars on top. When she asked why the difference, 'opps we miss calculated'. You would think the guys there would know how much a standard service costs if they do it day in and day out.
