Alert Dog Training

I would like to thank Del at alert dog training for all of his help with our dog Charlie. Alert dog training greatly improved Charlie's quality of life and we are so thankful!

When I contacted alert dog training I was living with a dog AND people reactive, food aggressive, anxious little terror! It was hard to have visitors and walking her was absolutely out of the question as it was just impossible.
I was desperate for help.
In FIVE lessons (and alot of commitment) my once argressive,embarrassing dog is able to walk down to the park, meet dogs and we are able to have visitors without them being chased and snapped at! I am so happy with the progress that Charlie has made that I recommend alert dog training to everyone I know.

We will continue to practise everything you have taught us and are happy to announce that Charlie will be getting on the plane with us for our big move to new Zealand!

I was definite when I got my labradoodle puppy that I wanted her to be well trained. I wanted her to be a pleasure to take out with me. The breeder recommended Del to me and I am very happy with the results. I think it is much more efficient to have a one-on-one trainer, and now that we have completed the individual sessions I am looking forward to attending the group sessions. Del's methods are consistent and clear. At seven months, my puppy is well on her way to being the responsive dog I want her to be - and though I'm a little slower at learning than she is, I'm on my way to being the owner she needs me to be! I highly recommend Alert Dog Training.

I finished our individual course this morning and now I have a new dog!
My young Great Dane X was out of control: no recall, rough towards other dogs... Since from the first session I saw a massive improvement.
I'm looking forward to join the group session next week.

Del has been great with our bullmastiff, Portia. After trying other trainers, we were getting nowhere but after just one lesson with Del, Portia was a more responsive dog. She had issues with other dogs, was fearful and was not listening to us at all and dominating the household. Being such a big dog, it was getting stressful just taking her for a walk in case she got upset or saw other dogs, picture 5am power walks to avoid confrontations and standing next to a 50kg dog having a tantrum on the ground when she couldn't have her way. We had to put in the hard work, but with Del at hand it made it so much easier in weeks to train our dog. He also came and did extra lessons with our parents so they felt better handling her. We really enjoy taking Portia out and about now and she is a more relaxed, happier dog. We cannot recommend Del highly enough!

Just wanted to drop by and thank Del for all his hard work with our good girl Rousey!
We rescued her late last year and have been very lucky at how switched on she is and how receptive she was to Del's training!! So glad we were pointed in the right direction and started lessons with Alert!! We noticed a huge difference in her after just one lesson!!And our Son's confidence in training his Rousey and in general has been awesome to watch!!She's one clever girl and we look forward to joining the group sessions now she's "graduated" from her individual lessons (7 in total).Del's a great guy and we liked the training methods, he was also awesome with our kids, especially my daughter...who I think may have her own lil career in dog training one day!! haha.HIGHLY RECOMMEND Alert Dog Training Cheers,Kiri p.s- our lil human girl says "Hi Uncle Del" :)
