The mechanics seem very fair and hard working, hats off to them. HOWEVER the guy who runs the store is a different story.
My car was left there with no electrical issues and it was picked up without the windows or seats working. The Manager/owner would take no responsability and has started placing the blame on me way before even consulting with his mechanics. Takes no responsability.
This experience has been such a head ache, having to go through fair trading just to get my car back the way it was when it was left at the mechanics.
I will never be using these guys again.

You stated that safety is your priority, however you passed a vehicle without the windows working, in particular the drivers side. Which is a requirement for registration safety inspection. Matter has been passed onto RMS.
In addition shortly after the car was picked up it had problems with air intak, I took it to a mechanic and he said the last person to have moved the intake box "most likely to get access to the engine bag" didn't replace it properly, leaving a air vacum leak. Coincidence is that in the last 12months Alex's Auto service is the only mechanic or person who worked in my car :)
Silvio and his team are great to deal with. Really accommodating, helpful and reasonably priced. They do their best to stick to booking times and get your car back to you when they say they will. Silvio always gives me a heads up to explain what work needs to be done why and options. I've used them for years and sent several friends there.
What a great bunch of guys! I used their services while my regular mechanic was unavailable and have to say that their passion for their trade really shows. Top quality workmaniship, easy to talk to and willing to give me all the feedback i needed and more. They treated their female clients with the utmost respect as I witnessed while in the workshop waiting to pick up my car.
