Altec Patio Covers

The team at Altec are super friendly. I grew up watching their ads on TV... and they were the first to call when I needed a deck. Everyone from Glennys and the office team to the construction crew were great to deal with. Definitely recommend!

Had paid a 10% deposit of $450 with Altec to construct a backyard patio, subject to body corporate approval. I was told I could "refund" if I couldn't proceed. When I notified Altec I had to cancel, I received an email to say they had done 4 hours of construction work @$55/hr (I never gave the go-ahead for the job), and had done 3 hours of admin job @$50/hour (i.e. a few phone calls to me to confirm whether I was going ahead or not). In total the "refund" was $80 of the $450 deposit.

What a joke. And worse, my friend who had actually quoted and went ahead with a $10,000 backyard patio and had it installed, was very dissatisfied with the work they had done. But once payment was made, they didn't come back to fix it. ...read more

I recently had a carport built by Altec. I was amazed at how fast it all happened from the planning and time that they measured up, had council approval and was finished. I am delighted with the carport. It is better than I envisaged. Apart from a single carport, it has given us a patio area that we didnt have before. I just love it. Thanks Altec - Great Job.

Recently had a carport built, and very happy with the finished product.

Had several quotes. Most were basically just a cheap shed kit, in standard size, which were cheap, but did not match the size we wanted, and look 'cheap and nasty' after we looked at a few in the area.

Altec took the time with us, designed it to match the house, gave us an option of materials and types of roofs, posts and gutters at different prices.

Was built on time and excellent workmanship. All council requirements taken care of.

Thrilled with the finished result.

If you want a customised service that will add value to your property, not someone trying to force their cheap kit on you, highly recommend

Very over priced. Altec charged us $8000.00 extra then the next highest quote using similar material. Please explain?
