Waterfront Holiday Cabins, Boat & Kayak HireAnglerâ??s Rest cabins all enjoy a sensational waterfront outlook and are fully self contained sleeping up to 6 people per cabin. All have water views from the living areas and some also have sensational water views from the main bed.
There is a larger villa (once our home) complete with a private courtyard for up to 8 people and powered sites for caravans, motor homes (RVs) or simply for camping.
All the cabins and villa have parking for your car or boat and a gated deck to help manage young children or dogs â?? yes, we are pet friendly! There are centrally located BBQs and laundry facilities for all guests and cots are available upon request with our compliments.
Anglerâ??s Rest Greenwell Point is a 15-minute drive from Culburra Beach and Jervis Bay and just 10 minutes from Nowra. The local public swimming pool, boat ramp and a large childrenâ??s playground are directly across the road.
Explore the gorgeous clear waters of the Crookhaven and Shoalhaven rivers in one of our 6 boats or 4 kayaks. Catch some fish for dinner, find your own private beach, or do what we do and soak up some of natureâ??s natural wonders on the almost uninhabited Comerong Island â?? host of a fabulous nature reserve and the southern end of Seven Mile Beach.
No boating experience is necessary, we launch them for you & provide everything needed to help make your outing fun and safe. Be prepared to get wet and have some laughs.
Boat & Kayak hire is available 7 days, sunrise to sunset by booking ahead or you can drop into our shop. Standard shop trading hours are 9am to 5pm (and often longer) everyday excluding Christmas Day. I regularly visit Nowra on business and on recommendation from a friend have begun to drive out to Greenwell Point to stay at Anglers Rest. Fantastic. The place is quiet, clean, and friendly. Reasonable rates for a fantastic location on the water. Its worth the drive and I feel totally relaxed after my stay there. I will be coming here for my holidays and recommend it to anyone.

Anglers rest? No peace or privacy for guests! We recently booked for a few nights in the villa we were told how wonderful and deluxe the place was by the management. We told them we had small dogs we were bringing with us and was looking forward to a peaceful stay. First impression walk into the villa, there was a hole in fibro the wall, bare and rough concrete floors in the lounge and dining. There were mats partially covering the concrete, but how about a little cheap vinyl or some tiles? 4 star accommodation, more like 2 star in our opinion. The worst of it was, our dining room\/lounge and kitchen areas, backed onto the front main office with only a door to separate us. The office opened at 8am and we heard every conversation, and feared that any conversation we had was heard as well. Our dogs would not stop barking as the voices from the front office were like they were coming from inside the villa. It felt like the management and other guests ...read more

Before you booked with us your work colleague, who is also our friend called me to say they have recommended us to you and that you would be calling to book. I thanked them for their recommendation & told them we would do our best to accommodate your needs.
Staff later answered your call to take your booking. During that conversation you advised us that you had 5 Chihuahuas. We have a â??maximum of 2 dogsâ?� policy, so the staff transferred the call to me. Based on my previous conversation with our mutual friend and your assurance that your Chihuahuas were very well behaved, would be no problem and were not yappy at all I hesitantly agreed to take the booking.
