Asked in person to speak to manager about the fact that my daughter has been in the wrong class since September, and the lack of progression and lack of consistency of teachers but she was too busy to leave her offoce to speak with me. That is how much management values it' s customers and parents who invest a lot of time, energy and money into swimming lessons each week. I'm sure I'm not the only disgruntled parent who has had their repeated concerns ignored week after week by one staff member after another.
Love this place.
It has pool. A gym. Different classes for different things from zumba, to outdoor boot camp style training, to yoga!
The pool has aqua aerobics and also a walking lane. And honestly, if you have a walking lane in a pool then it beats anything hands down. And people actually walk it. It's amazing.
The needs of people using the hydrotherapy pool are not well catered for with the temperature of the pool often several degrees below target, and some staff demonstrating appalling communication and behaviour toward older people and those struggling with English. The metal supports on the seats look like they have rusted and then been taped with black tape to hide the rust. Change facilities for people who need to use an accessible changing room are hopeless as they are usually being used by people who just like the extra space. Staff are told this time and time again and are reluctant to help. It is pitiful to watch a person crippled with arthritis waiting to use an accessible toilet or changing room but having to wait ages until a fit, healthy family emerge. There is only one accessible toilet in the pool area and this is in an accessible change room which means it is usually not available. On the MANY occasions the pool is too cold for hydrotherapy ...read more
I take my clients here every week for some hydrotherapy. I was never keen on indoor pools but this place is pretty sweet in terms of cleanliness. The cafe here is pretty good as well and it's handy you can take a seat right next to the pool. It's always nicely heated in the hydro pool which makes my life at work easier as clients are more eager to go in than a cold pool. I do believe it is a little expensive, but i guess that is the cost of going to an indoor pool!
