My husband and I own a small business. We are trying to get a loan to buy a display home and it pays for itself because its 7% a month for three years. We want to down size. Sell our home we are in now and move into the display home in three and be able to pay it off from selling a home we are in now.
ANZ have declined the loan because of our business debt. Which we have been servicing. Our figures are looking really good. Our Accountant has just sent figures to ANZ. Just spoke to Our business manager in Geelong who was extremely rude to my husband. ANZ dont care about small business clients and small business owners. Really angry with ANZ. My husband has health issues and we have to put up with the stress of ANZ who are really hard to work with.
I will not be recommeding ANZ to any family, business or friends. I'm sure current affair will be interested in how we have been treated.
Hi, We've been with the NAB for over 25 years with our business and home. Our folio with three properties and a charge over our business would be close to $10million. We sold our office building at double what we owe the bank who will be completely paid off on settlement. The bank forced us to clear our overdraft and will not assist us in any way. It won't make you feel better but they're all the same. Loyalty means nothing to them.
Like you, we're servicing all of our business debts but the bank has turned its back on us.
New lows in service from a bank this week. Over a month ago I issued instructions for a sizeable term deposit to be released at maturation - 26th April 2014. I receive confirmation of my instructions via email and also in a letter received 11th April. Come the date, no funds. The next business day 28th April I call the call centre and am told the funds will be in my account overnight, the delay was due to the weekend. ...read more
I have been doing my business and personal banking with the ANZ Bank for over 5 years now. In that time I have formulated an opinion on their level of service. Based on my own experience, I would describe it as being lacklustre to say the least. I have numerous examples of where their customer service has been sub-par, the following is just one. On 11/10/2011 at 15:51:59 I emailed ANZ via their Internet Banking SecureMail service... I queried two bank transactions with them and requested further details... on 12/10/2011 at 18:25:08 I received a response... they did not even answer the specific questions I asked, but rather they gave me an overview of the type of account I had! I emailed back on 12/10/2011 at 19:04:53... my email started with "You don't appear to have actually answered my ...read more
Bouquets to ANZ credit (hardship department) for showing compassion during my traumatic time dealing with serious illness. Not only did they dramatically reduce my monthly repayments to a more-than-manageable level, but they waived fees and interest until I was in a position to return to my regular repayments. In all my interactions with them during this time the staff were patient and kind, and always courteous and helpful.
Thankyou ANZ; you put some other institutions to shame.
