It is terrible experience with this local ANZ Bank even we were with them for more than 30 years. What kind of management would pay a staff to stand at the door to hold an ipad that give all excuses but not to work for the customer's banking need. Don't even open a new bank account or service in ANZ, they will cut off all non-profitable service. Such as remove all safe box 6 years ago, move the non-profitable teller service to buttom levels. Put in so-call service on the walk-in level, but to tell you that an appointment BOOKING is needed before you can walk-in. Staff will tell you you need to do everything including changing password, international transfer on your app or online BUT that is actually NOT offered.
This a a large multi level branch. They have a good number system which allows customers to que without having to line up. I've never had to wait too long, even dying peak times, because they have lots of tellers. There are also plenty of ATMs- some out the front and one out the back. Upstairs there are desks and representatives to assist with new bank accounts e.t.c. There can be a very long wait here so don't go if you are in a rush.
