Worst pair of shoes I have owned. I paid $175 for a pair of men's leather business shoes and after less than 2 months of minimal wear, the rubber heal had worn down to the wood. When I returned to the shop for their assistance, I was told that it's not their fault and that it's a case of simple wear and tear. They said the heel is soft leather and made for comfort. What is the use of comfort when it costs you $40 every 2 months to replace it? When I said I don't want a refund as I liked the shoes, I was told that it's not their responsibility. One of the worst customer service experiences ever!
Bought some shoes from Apex on Oxford St and after wearing them just 12 times, holes appeared in both soles which, on close inspection, were a paper thin piece of leather stuck to cardboard. I took them in for a refund and the owner said it was my fault as I'd worn them in the rain, then he bent over and slapped his behind then told me to get out. Shoddy product and extremely rude if you dare ask for refund. P.S. Young shop assistant was nice and wanted to give me a refund, it was the owner who was rude.
