Where the waves liveDive into the aquatic world of the Aquabumps Gallery. You will discover a stunning range of ocean-inspired photographs, taken by acclaimed photographer Eugene Tan. From the sublime sunrises to piping swells, the photographs capture the infinite possibilities of Sydney's beach and overseas paradises. Eugene takes photographs daily - for the gallery and website - so there's always something new to inspire and enjoy.
Aquabumps in run by Bondi local Eugene Tan. For almost 12 years, Uge has been getting up every morning to take photos of the orange sunset over Bondi Beach, or the local surfers tearing it up amongst a picturesque back drop. Uge then goes to the trouble of emailing his best seven shots, along with a short description of what is going on down at the beach to about 40,000 people, a good percentage of them professionals. When not in Bondi, Eugene will be travelling surf destinations around the world including Fiji and Hawaii taking amazing shots and bringing them back to our shores for us to experience them. He has also been seen hovering above Bondi Beach in a helicopter taking photos of the masses of people getting their dose of weekend sun. Dont forget to wave if you see him hanging out of the chopper! His small art gallery, Aquabumps is famous among the Bondi locals and showcases his thousands of shots from around the world.
