Another five star experience at this tiny old fashioned ( I mean that in the nicest possible way) shop....when it comes to shoes, the term " old fashioned" is a massive compliment as it shows great skill and hand made care. Hubby's shoes were ok on the upper parts but the sole needed fixing and in fact, it was worth it to replace the soles and heels, Vic, I love your work. Great to also talk about Trump and other politicians with Vic, what's not to love? So reasonably priced. Can't say anything negative, I think he photo of the finished job speaks for itself. Thanks Vic .
I love this place ! It's just a hole in the wall, tiny, but that does not matter. As a person with a hard-to-fit foot, it is an achievement for me to find shoes, so when they do wear thin, I can't toss out, I have to repair. He uses quality products to repair, and you return in a couple of days, though express service is possible. He also sells top quality shoes polish and creams, and shoe laces, I used one shoe cream to revive a much-loved handbag, and it worked a treat! I feel rude, I don't know his name, but his dad worked the business when I first discovered it twenty years ago.
Nice to know that small family-run businesses still exist. Very happy.
