We started renting a property last week. The customer service has been appalling - the house was not cleaned before we moved in (broken glass on teh floor, filthy throughout), the hot water was not connected, the air conditioning does not work (still after 4 days and therefore uninhabitable), the internet does not work (someone has stolen the NBN box), the pool is unswimmable - getting nowhere with our contacts I sent a detailed email to the owner and asked for a call - he sent a 5 word dismissive email back. Does nto seem to care about the customer or service. I understand we are tenants and not owners however we have owned many properties over the years, and this is BY FAR the worst agency I have ever dealt with. Avoid if possible.
Arthur Conias recently acted as our agent to sell our townhouse. From the time we requested an appraisal until final settlement, we were happy with the services of Arthur Conias. Their agent Jonathan visited our property and followed up promptly with advice on pricing and comparative market analysis. Conias presented our property to genuine buyers already on their database as well as buyers that came forward when the property was listed and advertised. Within two weeks, our property was under offer and Conias were able to bring the buyer’s offer up to our acceptable bottom line. Jonathan liaised with us throughout the whole process until settlement. The Conias model is that they pay for all marketing costs and don’t get commission until settlement is completed. The onus is really on them to be successful and we are very happy that they delivered for us. This was our third dealing with Arthur Conias Toowong.
An absolute horror to deal with. Every time we call to speak to a property manager, we are told they are not there. And we're always given a different name for a property manager. It took them a month to refund money that they owed us. We've convinced the owner of the property to fire them.
Authur Conias Real Estate is the most unprofessional real estate agency I have ever encountered.
Original inspection time was cancelled and agent promised to ring back when there is a new time confirmed but she never did. called the office to inquire on the new inspection time posted on the website without informing me and the receptionist has been very rude and unhelpful. She claimed that "our property manager do not call tenant directly and its the tenant's responsibility to check the website from time to time" and refused to get the agent to call me back.
