My family and I have been patients at Ashburton for about 5 years, We will however now be moving all together because of the disgusting lack of care shown. When I called recently to ask a question about a medication my son had been prescribed that I was concerned, I was told that "the doctors dont take phone calls". When I politely insisted I was told to "go to an emergency room" by a doctor via their receptionist. So am I to assume that in order to save this so called doctor 2 minutes on the phone I was expected to sit in an emergency waiting room for hours so that I could ask a doctor one question.
But surely after paying the exhorbitant rates for a few 5 hurried minute appointments over the previous 5 years one of these doctors could have found the time to answer one question. I urge anyone thinking of attending this practice to go elsewhere.
