Overall nice place and experience. Our table ordered a mix of dishes, some gluten free some vegetarian and traditional Italian. All good. Service friendly. Downside is a little expensive for what you get.

We were a family gathering for dinner expecting a nice night out. The night did not turn out that way. All of the dishes were overcooked. The banquet also overcooked, and bland.
The toilets are shared with everyone in this Pier Hotel complex and as such were unclean.
This cafe showed a lack of enthusiasm from the staff and manager and has no atmosphere apart from the sunset which was their draw card. To park in the Pier Hotel complex where this cafe is situated is about $10 per hour for the first two hours. An expensive night out. Our money would have been better spent at another place with a better reputation than this one.

Absolutely love this place, especially since they have changed head chef & the menu changes seasonally. I've been back 4 times ordering something different every time & I have never been disappointed. Recently had the Octopus entree, I've never had anything like it, so tasty & the crispy skinned pork belly with sautéed beans & pork broth is so delicious. Service always faultless & they all have great personality. I recommend the tasting menu & if not always make room for dessert, the semi freddo is magical!

Interesting menu of food which is differant but tastes good and was served pretty quickly which was good. Service was very friendly and overall great atmosphere.
