Havent stayed at the hotel but the restaurant in the hotel could do with a bit of work and improvement. Like the reveiw below, renovation would really help. Old and musty looking, Astor Hotel Motel seems like it has been around forever. The food menu seems pleasing but i think the quality needs work to it. Presentation looks like its something i whipped up in 10 minutes and jsut popped on the plate. Decent serving but the side dishes to the main could be better rather than just steamed veggies with gravy sauce. Staff are nice though, didnt have any issue with advising what was on the menu that was a favourite and the special of the day. Overall expereince could be better with food but the service was average.

Oh so disappointing. Came here for a Sunday lunch and felt like I was in a time warp. This place needs a major renovation. You have to order from the chalkboard and it was difficult to pick something light and healthy. I wasn't very hungry so I chose the bruschetta and it was not nice at all. Instead of basil it had dill, and the flavours were just bland as was the bread. Service however was country hospitality - quite casual but friendly enough.
