This place is the WORST option, do not bring your computer here for the love of god. I had an issue with my Acer PC's power supply, when i brought it to the PC Man, he replaced the graphics card instead, moved vital system folders around (pictures and downloads) to my D: drive and somehow broke one of my memory sticks in the process. New issues popped up as soon as i came home, i dealt with it for a few months and now i'm sitting here with a computer that refuses to boot up entirely or just bluescreens on startup. I would have taken the PC back to get fixed again but i didn't want to spend money i didn't have just to have more issues with my computer. I don't have a single idea how they managed to cause even more problems during this time while it took me a few google searches to figure out my issue was a faulty power supply within 15-20 minutes and i don't even work on computer hardware, yet this man claimed to be a proffessional, misdiagnosed ...read more
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! We dropped off our PC, to try and retrieve photos. I had to ring up 3 times, to try and find out what's going on as I never heard anything, and phone calls weren't returned. Was told they found them and backed them up but was still working on it. Waited 7 days in total, eventually my husband went in and he was told they were going to look at it again to see where they were up to with it, and would call in the next hour and a half. Of course no phone call came all day! My husband went back in the afternoon to be told they don't have internet (strange)! couldn't do research on the virus!! Paid money for them to back up corrupted files!! That's the reason we took the PC there in the first place, to uncorrupt them! When I found that this is all they had done I rang them up to tell them, and what do you know, they hung up on me ! This person runs a terrible business.I suppose they need all the help they can get! I re-read this post several times, if the files where indead corrupted it would take time to try and recover uncorrupted files. If my internet is down I am in the same boat as any other user. I have to wait until my provider fixes the problem, I have no control. Seems fairly unreasable to post such claims. Been doing this job for 22 years, have minimal problems with customers. Explain in laymans terms, usually tell a customer I am going to ring when it is finished do no updated every hour, would not got any work done!
PC problems prevented photographic productivity. This needed the help of someone who was initiated into the mysteries of Microsoft. Robert phoned them, obtained a new magic code and made everything work again as it should. Priority service - the problem was fixed while I waited. Jolly good show!

All ways helping people, giving away my time for free, had a few problems with customers in the past, I find some people are hard to please I have set fee's that are displayed on the front counter, have recently put a monitor at the front so I am completely transparent and customers can see what I am doing if they are waiting.
I left my laptop and power cord with them. When I went back to collect them and only gave my laptop back and said they did not have the power cord. The power cord was left there with them. After looking for it and saying they didn't have it , they told me had CCTV footage of when I dropped them off, I was only too happy to see the footage but of course they would not look at it ( if they even had it ) . They were extremely rude to me and told me to get out of the shop. I was at no time nasty or abusive as they were. I left the shop with no power lead having to go and purchase one elsewhere. If that is how they treats customers they won't be in business long. I also gave them a dell laptop with problems which I didn't want fixed and said they could have it for parts . Big mistake ,Disgusting service and treatment from them :(
This customer, came in with 2 Laptops, one had being damaged in a domestic dispute where the laptop screen was punched. I repaired the screen as requested. After repairing the screen it was discovered that the hard drive was damaged also, that was some punch to the screen as reported. I gave the cost of repairs and got permission to do them. After picking up the Laptop the customer rang and said we have customer's power cord, we label customers power cords that are left in the shop. Also there is CCTV footage from inside the shop. The customer wanted me to check the footage whilst other customers where waiting and was also being aggressive, telling other customers that I have lost it. My wife also said I was recovering data from the customer's broken hard drive, in which the customer said did not, I asked customer to leave.
