I had an issue with the roof bar that I bought and installed from another shop, took me 7 trips to that store to no avail (I will write up another review for those guys soon!).
Since AutoExtra is close to where I work I decided to visit them for a second opinion. Nitin was so pleasant and helpful to point out the problem, he ended up fixing it.
He even gave me a very good deal on an xtray rack as well!.
To Nitin: I couldn't thank you enough, you have saved me a lot of headache. I will definitely come back for more business.

DO NOT BOTHER BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
After booking my car in earlier in the week to get a tow bar fitted for today 19/1 at 10.30am, I was told it would take around 3 and a half hours. My father had taken the day off work to ferry me back and forth and living in Spearwood it's a hike. I arrive back at 1.20pm (3.20 hours later) to find my car untouched still sitting out the front. When I went inside to ask what was going on, I was told there was a mix up and they didn't realise my car was there?????? I was told they would get 2 guys onto it immediately, so my father and I went over the road and grabbed something to eat. Hi Ben, we are still in shock from this mix up as we had two vehicles with similar identities and unfortunately the incorrect one was started on and we missed your booking. This was a genuine mistake that should not have happened in the first place. We have all had a serious discussion on this and we all regret what happened. As soon as this happened, we alerted our fitters and we organized to get this done as soon as we could with 2 fitters that were just about to finish their lunch. We believe that you must have gone across the road to grab a bite to eat and saw your car that was just about to be run in the workshop. We have all had a sleepless night for this. We are proud of our quality of products and our installs but such errors hurt us and we are having a major change in our system to stop such embarrassment.

Due to a recent fitting of a tow bar to my car. I found the service offered was outstanding. Whilst price is a factor. The key point for me was Paul (customer service) who explained the various combinations of towing and electric brakes without irritation.

Made a booking (5 days in advance) for a roof rack and rails to be put on my car. Was told it would take 3 hours, but after almost 5 hours I had to call to see when it would be ready. Was only then told the wrong rails had been ordered and someone had gone to collect the right ones. This would take an hour and I would get a call when it was ready. After a further hour and 40 mins I again had to call to be told it 'should' be ready by the time I got there. On arrival nobody was willing to take any responsibility for the delay, even worse no-one was willing to explain the lack of telephone communication with the majority of employees hiding behind their computers. Absolutely disgusting service.
Appalling and dismissive. On a Thursday afternoon I booked for a tow bar installation to happen on the following Monday afternoon. When I arrived at Auto Extra in Osborne Park, I was told they had no booking for me, at all. When I asked to speak with someone, the 'Managing Director' - Nitin - was initially dismissive of me. It took me creating a fuss for him to get out of his chair and from behind his oversized computer monitor to talk to me. Very apologetic but it was not his fault. Best option was to leave the car with him for half a day - for a job that can be done in 60-90 minutes. If Auto Extra can't manage a simple telephone booking service, they can't be trusted to fit any equipment to my car, especially when the 'Managing Director' is more interested in what is on his computer screen than the unhappy customer in front of him.
