I've owned Alfa Romeo's since the mid-90s and this is the place in Sydney to take your Alfa if your want top service from Alfa mechanic experts.
The team at Automoda really know their stuff and the workshop looks immaculate inside, their range of Alfa collectables & rare/antique models in the showroom are great too. I always get a loan car & my Brera comes back looking nice, clean & purring like a cat.
Yes they're not the cheapest, but if you take premium care of your Alfa she will love you back !
I currently own a Fiat 500 and was told by a friend that I should have it serviced by Automoda. I called to schedule in a service and a guy named Vince who I spoke to seemed friendly and polite and said for me to bring it in the following week. When I brought my car in they said they'd have it back to me in 2 days. I received a call that morning of the second day and they said it was ready to be picked up! There were no issues with the car and I was charged the amount that they quoted me. Very happy and would recommend this mechanic to others.
Been taking my Alfa 147 here for a few years and this is the only mechanic I use now. Sure they aren't the cheapest, but they actually do fix the car properly. They're passionate and knowledgeable about their Alfas, plus I get a free loan car and my 147 comes back washed & vacuumed!
This mechanic is no good. Fixed some problems with my car over serviced and charged over price+$700!~ Did not even bother to call me before going ahead with extra work or required parts! He an "old-school" mechanic living in the 1950-60's and uses old tricks to con people into paying more. Did not explain the difference and price between oil change and service clearly. Fuel additive+$25 was not required or stated in car service manual! Promised to fix something but did not. MAKE SURE if possible you get a written quote from him before you start or even better go to another mechanic! Limited communication and not willing to negotiate, I agree with JAFFA! Similar experience with the radio and courtesy car and stickers.
I tried to give 0 stars but it wouldnt let me. You will discover more problems after getting your car repaired or serviced at this place. They do not take care of customers cars nor their wallets. They fixed my car without and before letting me know the problem or costs. I didn't even get the chance to ask around for a second or third opinion and was forced to pay thousands for the repairs without even negotiation allowed. Management was rude and terrible customer service. They stuck advertise ment stickers on my car which I really didnt like. The car was dirty when I picked it up and time and radio settings were all changed. They did not provide me with courtesy car. I called so many times so ask for feedback regarding my car with no call back and when I finally was able to reach management was very rude. Provided limited feedback about my car and what went wrong and kept on complaining about all these problems my car in a lecturing manner had and ...read more
