Location is central. Gaming floor is small. Buffet offers tables and booths.
Buffet is great for the price and soft drinks are bottomless... You pay for it on arrival and you're given a cup.
Salad bar is great too.
Dessert is also great.
Take a large group to this one if you cannot get to Merrylands RSL.
Staff are always welcoming and friendly at sign in and the Buffet.
G'day Guys
Hey the Rissole club was my old stomping ground when I grew up in Bankstown as it was mid to late 80's when I was legal to drink there because I was dragged as a kid to attend the oldies night show but at least I got a free feed from mum & dad at the bistro, I had awesome nights catching up with me mates when we attended the live gigs like Cold Chisel, Angels,Choir Boys & many others bands.
The good old days & very happy memories were had & forgotten at the Bankstown RSL, the staff were always very friendly as we were weekly regulars.
Cheers & catch ya later guys.

I had a chance to get to the newly renovated Star Buffet and what can I say??? 11/10! The restaurant is amazing, with new tables and chairs, far more space between tables (you no longer feel *crammed in like sardines*). The menu is bigger and includes a sushi train, still has the carvary, salad bar, desserts, and Asian dishes, along with some new goddies, including a chocolate fountain. The staff are friendly, the lighting good, and the food set out nicely with lots of space. A new entrance and atmosphere has given the whole venue that *little more class* - definitely worth checking out!
