Barbeques Galore

Barbeques Galore is great! The staff at the Lake Haven shop are both super friendly and very helpful. If you need ANYTHING to do with a BBQ THIS is the place to go!!! They sell all sorts of accessories for the BBQ - woks, frying pans, cookbooks, fish racks, tongs etc through to coolers, outdoor plates, cups, bowls, serving dishes, marinades and saucers, to stunning outdoor furniture and amazing BBQ's - from something portable for the beach to a whole out-door kitchen. Heading into summer this is the place for all your BBQ needs!

I brought 3 bottles into this store about my birthday in April 2014. I purchased a new bottle with the b'day voucher they give you. After I got it home, I noticed 2 of my gas bottles that I had 4 years on one and 6 years on another were replaced with 1 that has 1 year and rusty so it can't be re-stamped, and another with 2 years, but the third bottle I had leaked and they seemed to give this one back to me without drama. I complained I was basically told tough luck. I didn't go to swap and go, I went to BBQ Lake Haven, I trust they will protect my property. They did not. I complained to management, and to the head office cross fingers we do not end up in court.

While I do like having a browse in Barbeques Galore, their prices leave a LOT to be desired. They do have a great range of barbeques, utensils, outdoor furniture and outdoor *home wares* such as place mats, table cloths, plates, glasses etc, I personally find them very over-priced. I do like the range of extras you can buy for your barbeque, meat thermometers, rotisseries etc - I'd much rather buy accessories at K-mart. They do have some good sales though with prices reduced so it's good to shop then. The staff are friendly and the store is set out well with everything easy to find.
