A truly disturbing experience at Barossa Bowland and Minigolf. We walked in as a group of 3 adults, 2 children and 1 two year old child, to play golf. Paid the amount charged, then added a $13 payment for the 2 yo. Left fruit at counter when asked, due to not being allowed to take in own food. Spent $63 in total, thinking that was for all of us as we had been given 6 clubs. After some time of standing completely in open, the licensee approached us and became abusive, stating we had not paid for one adult. Our children watched as we were accused of being thieves...we left with a $50 refund in complete and utter disbelief. Tried calling later in the day to request an explanation and received even further abusive accusations, stating "there can't be any other possible story" and "where do I know you from, I know YOU from somewhere" in a threatening tone, when I said I wished to state my experience of the venue. We took the kids there today for a game of bowling and mini golf. We also played basketball games at the arcade, we put in $1 for each player but the machine only let one player played. We tried to explain to a young worker that the machine just swallowed our money but he didn't believe us. When it happened again , we let them know and he called his supervisor Shaun to have a look at it. Shaun told us that nothing is wrong with the machine and took a $2 coin out trying to show us, but I tried to tell him that we put $1 for each player not $2 coin And the machine allowed just one player. I felt frustrated because he didn't listen to my story and he said I was raising my voice with him and walked away.
I felt so disappointed with Shaun attitude. He doesn't act like the one in charge and unable to resolve issues professionally. He need to listen to what ...read more
