Travelling from North QLD to Brisbane, my wife and I found our self's stranded on the side of the road in an unfamiliar town. We goggled Auto Elects in the area and by chance, chose Bashi's Auto Electrics. Not only were they friendly and helpful over the phone I found their Auto Elect who attend our job, prompt and made what I thought was going to be a difficult and expensive job simple and a lot less than I expected. Thanks for your prompt service and you saved our family holiday! 6 Stars if I could!
After not being able to get the other 5 star auto electricians because they were busy, we gave Bashi's a call. The reception staff said they could be there in an hour or so. They did arrive then, thats why we have them 1 star. It was all downhill from there. They located the fuses in our car and tested many, but forgot to switch on the ignition key! When they did eventually find the problem fuse, gave us a bill for $160! $130 call out fee, which we were'nt warned about and $30 for the half hour they were there. We should have waited for the other Auto guys!
Hi Aussiems1. Gezim Bashi here. I'm sorry about what has happened. I was away last week so I don't know about the job. Let me find out what has happened and speak to the tradesman who came out to you. Our standard procedure is to always quote the customer on our call out and labour rates for onsite service. It sounds like they have not done this. This may be because one of the tradesmen and not the admin staff have spoken to you when you booked it in. Let me find out what happened, and we will call you.
I spoke to a staff and no, they didn't tell us anything about the charges. If they had....we would have gone with someone elso. Your charges are too much! The other reviewer also thought so!
Bashi's Auto Electrics did contact me and the matter has been resolved. As we were not informed about the call-out charges when we rang, we were reimbursed a good portion of the bill we paid. We thank Bashi for that.
