Bau Truong Restaurant

Big brand for Vietnamese food, i love their pork and apple salad along with their signature 'Beef 7 Ways' never knew there are so many ways to cook one animal.
Also must have are their grilled dishes with nooldes. Fresh, crisp and flavourful!

This is my go-to restaurant for my fave vermicelli salad. It's quick, relatively cheap and certainly hits the spot. They have a variety of other dishes too, plenty to suit any cravings.

We went out to Cabramatta for some material shopping and stopped into Bau Truong for a spot of lunch. Now, apparently this isn't the best Pho joint you'll find in Cabramatta, but I must say it was very good. The portions are huge, the soup is flavoursome and the meal cost $12 each! With sides of fresh chilli and chilli paste, you can make it as hot as you like.

Friends and I visited this gem on the weekend and I am so glad they were Vietnamese and a) knew what to order and b) where NOT to eat in Cabramatta. Bau Truong is a step above the rest of the local eats and is visibly newer, cleaner and friendlier! The service is excellent, the flavours fresh and healthy. Make sure you try the papaya and fresh salmon salad! It is a palate-dancer!

I've eaten at both the Cabramatta and Canley Heights Bau Truong Restaraunt many times and I can say that the Canley Heights store is better. The Cabramatta store has better service (because it is less packed) but the food in terms of both the taste and presentation isn't as good as the other shop.
