Bayfit Leisure Centre

Nice place, have had nothing but friendly interactions. Seemingly it has gotten a lot better over the last few years. Seems to be under new management as well. Seem like they're heading the right way. Definitely still some things to improve on, but generally happy training and swimming here!

Over the last few weeks Ive been using the swim centre here. Its reasonably large with a number of different sections to the pool. In one area of the pool, I believe more for leisure swimming the water is a littler warmer, there is a toddler/children area. They have a few young lifeguards on duties. The only main concern I have is the change area. Its quite outdated, old and dirty compared to a lot of other gyms/pool areas Ive been to. Uncertain how often they clean the showers out, replace the toiletry hand paper towels in the room as its broken, paper towels partly falling, and the shower/toilet its just filled with hair/grimy soap. Some interior update would make a huge difference to this centre, as the swim area is quite good overall.

Typical gym when trying to cancel membership - get charged for another month.

You should look at their Facebook page-it's updated all the time and has regular posts on everything happening in the centre. I love getting the motivational quotes and updates of classes and what's happening in the gym.

A great program for seniors, but have given low rating because the websit is so out of date it is not possible to know what is current.
