I've had terrible experiences both times I've been here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
The first time I dined here, despite making a reservation, we were told that our table was not ready and to come back in 15 minutes. When we came back they scrambled around to clear the table for us - they hadn't even started getting it ready in this time! After being seated, it took 25 MINUTES before anyone returned to take our order (we timed it, we were so disgusted).
The second time, we ordered takeaway over the phone. When we arrived to pick it up, they said they hadn't started cooking it as they were "not sure" about a couple of things we had ordered. Uhh??!! What? So we had to wait around another 20 mins, and when we finally walked out with our order, we were missing a meal. We checked the receipt and they hadn't even put that meal on our order, despite them confirming it. Average food and pathetic service.
Last Friday we went to this restaurant for my sons birthday. After placing the order i became worried that the staff had not written it down despite repeating it back to us correctly. After 25 minutes, My kids starters arrived, we did not receive ours. As the kids were starving i asked the staff to please bring their main course as soon as ...read more
I only expected cafe standard food, but was still let down. The food we had on a tasting plate was old - not bad, just aired for too long to still be moist and fresh. The draught cooled the place down too much, and the time for drinks to come to us in a half empty place was too long.
I've been back since and the same issues seem to still plague this place. I'd be hesitant to try a third time.
I have been here twice, and have been disapointed both times. We had made a booking for 7pm on a Saturday, and we didn't get seated until after 8pm. There were people walking in without a booking who got a table ahead of us. Dinner also took over 45 minutes to arrive. The second time we went, once again dinner took over 45 minutes to come out.
