This practice has gone down hill in the last year, 2022, with a large staff turnover and new staff being objectively rude to patients. 2 doctors, 2 receptionists and the nurse have all relocated or stopped being employed at this practice in the year 2022. These staff members were all employed at this practice for over 7 years.
The new receptionist staff and nurse have been rude.
Would not recommend. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
I worry for the most vulnerable of our community who attend this practice and the front of staff attitude they may receive. I cannot speak to the attitude of the current or new doctors.
Bemtley Medical Centre is a family friendly practice. After 10 years of care, in my retirement years they care for me in my quest to get a telegram from HRH. Splinter removal, colds and flu, Flu Shots, vaccines, patching me up after dropping a heavy bee box on my shin and referrals to an eye specialist; all has been high quality care throughout. Never mind the wait times, I get to see my busy doctor. Always has time for ME. Highly recommended!
I couldn't agree more with the earlier comment about the receptionist. While they treated me perfectly fine in the hour and a half I waited (for a 9am appointment mind you) I heard the receptionist being incredibly rude to several patients both in person and on the telephone. I was quite appalled to be honest, sounds like it wasn't just a one off.
Been going there for several years now for a bee immunisation shot and the staff there are always friendly helpful and courteous. Sometimes they run a bit behind schedule but which medical practice doesn't ? I wanted to write this review because I couldn't disagree more with the other review and makes me think they are a competitor. It's a good medical practice and the magazines aren't bad either, the fishing one's are the best !
