One of my favourite Sydney restaurants. The staff are amazing, attentive, skilled and friendly - without being in the way. I've been many times now with different people, and everyone's always enjoyed it. It feels like I could come here forever and never get tired of it.
Really good little find. You wouldn't know it was there, other than word of mouth.... Food is really fresh and yummy. I had the fish which was full of flavour and they have a good wine selection.... Perfect for a girls lunch or a night out with friends who enjoy good food and fine wine....
The restaurant has a Eurpoean feel to it, nice and intimate without being overcrowded. Busy because it is so good, not busy because they try and cram too many peopel in. Not a typical Sydney restuarant, but that is not a bad thing!!
A personal favourite of mine.....
Great little spot tucked away in a small back street. I came here with some friends on a Friday night and it was already packed at about 6:30pm.
We managed to get a seat at the counter and then moved over to a table when the place quietened down a little.
The food is great and wine list impressive. Dishes are clever and unpretentious, and are designed for sharing. Loved the scallops, kingfish carpaccio, clams, rabbit rilletes and pumpkin. I got the impression that the menu varies, so would love to come back to try something different.
Great spot for a night out with friends. Dinner was about $350 - $400 between the four of us (about 8 dishes, some dessert, beer and a bottle of wine).
They've also started taking bookings so it's worth calling ahead to secure a table (which we didn't).
